The Meetings
Sunday 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Pompano Beach – Sample Road Anorexia Group Social, Sexual, and Emotional Anorexia Meeting, Room 7 (2nd floor), St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, 1111 E Sample Road, Pompano Beach, FL. Take I-95 to Pompano Beach. Take exit 39, the Sample Road exit. Turn left to head east if you were on I-95 south. Turn right to head east if you were on I-95 north. The building is one mile east of I-95 on the left (north) side of Sample Road. Walk up one of the rear external stairways to the second floor to find room 7.

The meeting starts some time between 8:15 and 8:30 pm and runs until some time between 9:30 and 9:45 pm. Take I-95 to the Ives Dairy Rd. exit (NE 205 St.) and head West. Tuesday 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. North Palm Beach - No Name Group, Nativity Lutheran Church, 4075 Holly Drive, Palm Beach Gardens. Take I-95 to Exit 77, go West on North Lake Blvd., turn Right onto N Military Trail, and go north 1 mile to Holly Drive. Take a Right on Holly Drive. Go 4 tenths of a mile.
Tuesday 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Fort Lauderdale – Fort Lauderdale Group, Gay and Lesbian Community Center, 1717 N Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale. From I-95 take Sunrise Blvd. east to Andrews Ave., then take Andrews Ave. north. The GLCC is on the left. The meeting room is on the north side of the building. Thursday 7:45 - 8:45 p.m. Boca Raton – Boca Beacon of Light Group, Caron Renaissance Institute, Room 139, 7789 NW Beacon Square Blvd, Boca Raton, FL. From I-95, take the Congress Avenue exit (#50). Take Congress Avenue south, and then turn right onto Beacon Square Boulevard, which is the first light after turning onto Congress. The turn is at sign that reads "Beacon Square." Take the fourth right and then left into parking lot for Caron Renaissance. Enter on the east side of the building. The meeting is in Room 139.

Saturday 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Stuart – Stuart-Saturday Night Alive Meeting, Unity Church of Martin Co., 211 Southeast Central Parkway, Stuart, FL. Take I-95 to Exit 101, St. Road 76 (Kanner Hwy) Go East about 5.5 miles crossing SE Monterey Rd then make the 2nd right onto Southeast Central Pkwy. The Church is a short distance on the left (North side). Use side entrance down paved walkway. From US1, Central Pkwy, across from the Stuart News, is just north of SE Monterey Road. Go west from US1. The Unity Church is on the right.

Directions to the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Lake Worth from the
South
100 North Palmway, Lake Worth. From south of Lake Worth, take I-95 North
to exit 64. Go east on 10th Ave N. to Federal Highway (east of Dixie). Take
a right onto Federal Highway and follow it to Lake Avenue. Take a left onto
Lake Avenue two blocks to North Palmway. Take a left on North Palmway. The Church
is on the right at the Corner of Lucerne. Park on the street or in Washington
Mutual Lot if the Bank is closed.
Directions to the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Lake Worth from the
North
100 North Palmway, Lake Worth. From north of Lake Worth, take I-95 South
to exit 63. Go east on 6th Ave S. to Federal Highway (east of Dixie). Take a
left onto Federal Highway and follow it to Lake Avenue. Take a right onto Lake
Avenue two blocks to North Palmway. Take a left on North Palmway. The Church
is on the right at the Corner of Lucerne. Park on the street or in Washington
Mutual Lot if the Bank is closed.
Directions to the Hanley Resource Center in West Palm Beach
933 45th Street, West Palm Beach. Take I-95 to exit 74. Go east on 45th
Street past the railroad tracks. Just before St. Mary's Hospital's main entrance,
make a left turn onto the side entrance road where the new Hanley Resource Center
building is. Turn left into the parking lot and park near the front entrance.
Ask the person at the desk for directions to Room #175, the Outpatient Room.
Directions to the Multipurpose Facility, Room 5, in Plantation
From I-595 West out of Fort Lauderdale take exit 4 to Pine Island Road.
Turn right (northbound) onto Pine Island Road. After 1.3 miles turn left onto
W Broward Blvd. At the first traffic light take a right onto Central Park Place.
Take your first right into Plantation Central Park, which is NW 2nd Street.
Go to your second stop sign and park in the lot on the right. The large building
adjacent to the pool and basketball courts on your right is the Multipurpose
Facility. The meeting is in room 5 on the second floor of the Multipurpose Facility.

Directions to St. Marks Episcopal Church, Room 313 (Teacher’s Lounge),
in Palm Beach Garden
Palm Beach Garden. Take I95 to PGA Blvd. East to alternate route A1A.
South to Burns Road. East on Burns Road. Go past the light to the St. Marks
entrance on left. Room 313 is at the north end of campus, in the back. Park
in the East parking lot.
Directions to the Unitarian Church of South Miami
Unitarian Church, 7701 SW 76th Ave., South Miami, FL. Take Sunset Drive
(SW 72nd Street) exit off route 826. Head east on Sunset Drive. In just 1/10
of a mile turn south (right) onto SW 75th Avenue. Travel 0.4 miles (including
S-turn where the road changes name to SW 76th Avenue) and turn left onto SW
78th Street. The first left turn you can make brings you into the Unitarian
Church's rear parking lot. Park in the far back (northeast corner). There is
a sidewalk leading to a courtyard. On the opposite side of the courtyard from
the parking lot is the meeting room.
Purpose
The purpose of the South Florida Intergroup, per the Twelve Traditions, is to serve the groups and the SLAA recovery community in South Florida. We are registered with F.W.S. and provide generally useful communications between groups, the professional community and individuals earnestly seeking recovery. We update the above schedule and reconcile it with SLAA’s World Directory, communicating changes to F.W.S.
Any changes to this schedule whether additions, closures, changes, or corrections can be mailed to South Florida Intergroup, 3230 NE 9th Terrace, Pompano Beach, FL, or submitted using the appropriate form at www.SouthFloridaSLAA.org. Since each group is autonomous (Tradition 4), please indicate which, if any, information your group conscious wants to be available in print and on the web. You can also contact us this way to register or change your group’s service representative or bring up issues to be brought before the South Florida Intergroup. Groups are notified through their representatives of statewide and national events.
